FACE OFF Top 20 Finalist
FACE OFF has come around so quickly, hasn’t it!
This year Chris Kapetanov, Principal Stylist and Owner of Preen Salon in Melbourne’s CBD, takes home one of the top 20 finalist spots at the American Crew FACE OFF Award Night. Chris didn’t follow up their last years winning entry by Melissa, however you know you’re a great stylist when out of over 800 entries you make it in the top 20. Congratulations Chris on an amazing achievement. You have demonstrated year after year that Preen is an outstanding, talented Melbourne Salon and excels when it comes to forward thinking fashion styles and trends. A salon not to be messed with.
It was a beautiful evening at the Peninsula in Melbourne’s Docklands where for the first time American Crew’s FACE OFF competition combined the finalists and winner events over one big night. After an impressive fashion runway extravaganza, we quickly remembered the real reason why we were there. The announcement of the 2013 FACE OFF finalists and winner.
Chris, looking as sharp as his shears (love the jacket), accepted the Top 20 Finalist Award for Black and White Photograph and Grooming on Sunday. His entry, The Short Cropped Side Part, shows off his precision cutting and styling skills. A classic men’s cut with contemporary execution that coins the phrase ‘Classic Hairstyle Made Modern’. An inspired look you see on the streets of London.
