How To Get The Most Out Of Your Tan

What Is Spray Aus Tan?

Spray Aus  tan has been developed from a combination of  f natural fruits, plants, oils, and extracts. Part Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, and Kakadu Plum for moisturising and perfuming the skin. Part Vitamin E, Walnut extract, Hazelnut extract, and Glycerin for antioxidants, colour and soothing the skin.

How Long Will It Last?

A Spray Aus tan will last between seven and ten days, fading out naturally and gracefully with showers and swims. It dries within three minutes of application, and – if you follow some simple instructions – won’t rub off on your clothes or between the sheets.

How Many Days Before My Event Should I Get My Tan?

We suggest to tan at least 1 – 2 days before your event. For events such as weddings 2 days before for a more natural look. Pre holiday tans the night before. However, this is just a guideline we can always tailor our tan application or time left on the skin to work with your schedule.

How Do I Prepare For My Tan?

Before your tan, exfoliate as best as you can and remove unwanted hair the night before or morning of. Ensure the skin is free from make up, moisturiser, deodorant and perfume. Also, have some loose dark clothes to pop on after.

How Long Does It Take To Dry?

Within three minutes you are tanned, dry and ready to get dressed.

Will The Tan Come Rub Off On My Clothes?

Bronzer is used in the product so that the colour appears instantaneously, which means you might experience some rub off onto your clothes in the first few hours. You can prevent this by wearing darker colours, and if your clothes get stained, don’t sweat, it’ll all come out in the wash or at the dry cleaner.

We are a quick dry solution, so the chances of rub off are very minimal.

Remember too, that during your first post-tan shower, the excess bronzer will wash off, leaving you with only that lasting natural glow.

How Long Will My Tan Last?

We’re pretty proud at the length of time our colour lasts. You should expect it to stay for between seven and ten days. It’ll fade away gradually with the passing skin cells. To prolong your tan, you can moisturise daily, because the outer layer of the skin is constantly being replenished and regenerated. We recommend using coconut oil as moisturiser to prolong the tan.

Remember to always wear a sunscreen, even with your tan, as natural tanning doesn’t offer any protection from UV rays, so be sun-smart when you’re in the outdoors, and try to wear a moisturising sunscreen lotion wherever possible.
